Merry Christmas

Just to let you know we are off on our holliers tomorrow so the blog will be taking an official break until the start of January.

Oh Christmas tree Oh Christmas tree

There's nothing like a big tall full Christmas tree sparkling with fairy lights, covered in decorations and surrounded with presents to make you feel all cozy and warm inside. Well this sorry lot has definately seen better days, there are some dodgy looking christmas trees out there.

        This one just makes us feel a bit sad, we want to give it a hug

                                      Wrong. wrong, creepy and wrong.

There are just no words for this one, except somebody please turn out the lights.

bad day..... good decade

Is it a good or bad thing to be voted the top one-hit-wonder of the decade? On the one hand it means you topped your game before you'd barely started, you're only ever known for that one song, people probably sing it to you everytime they see you on the street, what made you was so good you just can't beat it, and maybe you never will. Bad times. On the other hand, you created a little gem that people love so much they propelled it into the stratesphere, a place all music artists try to get to and most don't ever succeed. Good times. 

This week Daniel Powter's song 'Bad Day' was named as the top one-hit-wonder of the decade by Billboard Magazine. We love that song. Especially the video, remember when the guy drew the umbrella over the girl in the picture to protect her from the rain? Melt.

So what do you think? Did Daniel deserve his accolade?

the best thing about Christmas

Christmas jumpers. Admit it you love them just as much as we do. And here’s a tip for you, if you want to have the best laugh ever then have a christmas jumper party like our friends did last week. It was wrong, wrong, wrong…but oh so right. A few of us had cameras but we had to take an oath of allegiance to the gang never to reveal the photos to anyone, ever. But we couldn’t resist so here you go…heads chopped off to protect identity of course or we’d soon have no friends left.

 

Love this one, much improved by the sewn on Christmas tree decorations of course.

Nice touch adding the festive lights.

Christmas jumper or little house on the prairie…we’re  not so sure.

Breaking the rules here but the tinsel necklace is a nice touch.

feeling a bit cabbaged?

Everyone feels a bit cabbaged from time to time, maybe you’ve stayed up too late all week watching repeats of x-factor or the apprentice or whatever takes your fancy, maybe you’ve been working really hard and not taking enough afternoon naps, or maybe you decided to get creative with a head of cabbage and sculpt your own face out of raw vegetable? Ammm, weird or wonderful, what do you think?
