The innocent Big Knit tour couldn't have started off better with the sun shining, and lots of people out knitting outside Dundrum Town Centre on Sunday afternoon.
The lovely Delo and Darragh from Age Action joined us for some knitting and bobble making (Darragh's specialty). You might remember Delo from the innocent Big Knit launch a few weeks ago.
Our knitters were also treated music from Nikki Hayes broadcasting live for the 2fm Roadcaster. We'd like to say a big thanks to Nikki from 2FM for helping to make our day of knitting a great success.
A big thanks to Rachel (11) and Joy (13) from Dublin who both knit their first hat. They were both out and about celebrating Joy's 13th birthday.
We were delighted to see so many people turning up and, of course, lots of little knitted hats to help us to our goal of 80,000 behatted innocent bottles to help Age Action. Our hat drop box really filled up during the day.
Sun, smoothies, and knitting, o' such a perfect day
It was a weekend full of knitting. We'd like to say a huge thank you to Lisa from This is Knit for holding a knitting event in Powerscourt Towncentre on Saturday where they knit a whopping 125 hats.
Thanks to everyone who came out to make our first innocent Big Knit event a huge success. Couldn't make it to Dublin? Stay tuned to our facebook page for details on this Friday's innocent Big Knit event in Cork.

When are ye coming to Galway lads? Would love to catch up with ye. My children LOVE your smoothies, our chest freezer is covered in magnets!! I think the hats are a great idea! I have started crotheting again after learning it at school 26 years ago!! Any chance of getting a crochet pattern on line? Would love to contribute to this great cause, Una
