To celebrate our week-long green smoothie promotion on Today FM's Ray D'Arcy Show, we're giving our web fans a chance to get in on the action too. We love our refreshing kiwis, apples, & limes smoothie so much that we're giving you the chance to win a green smoothie hamper. All you have to do is answer the question below to be entered into a draw.
But, before entering you may want to know what's in our kiwis, apples & lime smoothie.
Well....a carton contains: 4 1/2 pressed apples (for zing), 1 pressed pineapple (for pow), 4 1/2 crushed kiwis (for shazam), 22 pressed grapes (for pop), 1/2 a fresh lime (for tingle) and just a dash of spinach and nettle extract (for added nyum), and we think you’ll agree the combination of zing, pow, shazam, pop, tingle and nyum is, as people in advertising would say, a totally unique refreshment experience. And of course, the natural stuff above is all it contains - as ever, we don’t have any secret ingredients, concentrates or additives lurking about.
To win the kiwis, apples, & limes smoothie hamper, you just have to answer the following question in the comments below.
Our question is...
Can you name 5 green fruits?
Shout at your co-workers for help, run down to the fruit section in the supermarket and start counting, get Googling, or maybe you're a fruit expert who can already name a dozen different green fruits. For your chance to win a green smoothie hamper, post your fruity answers below in the comments and we'll pull the winner out of a hat.
Don't worry if you don't win as you can come along and sample our kiwis, apples & limes smoothie from some lovely ladies in selected Tesco and Superquinn stores tomorrow, Friday and Saturday.
This competition is only open to people in the Republic of Ireland.

appealing green 'apples' are
'peared' off with 'limes' or sometimes 'kiwi' while poor 'gooseberry' is well, a gooseberry!

Hmm. Of course the obvious are listed above. But not forgetting,
Green bananas.
Sea-sick oranges. (The name is a red-herring!) :)
Envious lemons.
Unripe, eh, strawberries.
And...money-fruit, freshly picked from the money tree. (This fruit is particularly rare, so you may not have heard of it.)
