In last month's newsletter we asked you to come up with ways to inspire people to get knitting for a chance to win tickets to the Knit and Stitch show at the RDS. We had some great suggestions and we've picked 7 winners who we'll hopefully be seeing at the event this weekend.

"I think the best way to get poeple knitting is to make it as crazy and
fun as possible, easy instructions and reward their effort by posting
a photo of their creation and name on your website!! We can vote for
the best one bottle hat and the winner gets a few free smoothies!!"
"Was thinking about ways to get more people knitting. Think RTE have launched a new kids channel so maybe might be good to try and get the presenters to mention it and start the kids knitting, maybe get a grandparent or older knitter in their local community to start them off, might also be a good way to build up relationships between kids and older members of the local community."
"Add a ticket to your smoothies packs (a la Willie Wonka and the golden
ticket) and winning tickets will get a free knitting pack."
