After a final final count of innocent Big Knit hats, we were ecstatic to find out that we reached the 80,000 target we set ourselves. Thanks again to everyone out there who knit a hat for the innocent Big Knit. Most importantly though, reaching 80,000 hats allowed us fulfil our promise of giving €20,000 to Age Action Ireland. Here's a picture from earlier today when innocent's Ali met with Age Action CEO Robin Webster and handed over the €20,000 cheque.
Eamon Timmins from Age Action commented that “The money raised from the innocent big knit is being used in our annual winter warmth public education campaign which informs people how they can stay well, warm and healthy in their homes.”
