We asked you last week to help us pick the innocent Big Knit 2010 hat of the year. After a tense week of voting (we were all gunning for our favorites here in fruit towers) for the best hat on our facebook page, it became a very close race with Dolly from Mayo and Theresa from Dublin neck and neck most of the way. When the voting deadline passed though, there could be only one winner...
The winner (drum roll please) of the innocent Big Knit 2010 hat of the year and undisputed ultimate all time knitting queen is Theresa from Dublin who knit this hat and won the public vote on facebook.
We'd also like to give a special thanks to every single knitter, stitcher and crocheter who sent us in a hat. Thanks to you giving up your free time and putting your creative talent into knitting little hats the shop shelves have been filled with little behatted innocent bottles and more importantly, we're set to give a whopping €20,000 donation to Age Action Ireland to help keep old people warm this winter. You're all knitting superstars to us.
A very deserving winner too - they're gorgeous hats. I loved being part of the Big Knit and can't wait to do it all again next year.
