We've received all your innocent Big Knit hats, and sent them out into the world (with a farewell tear in our eye - we’ve gotten rather attached to the little fellas). The new “winter look” bottles have already been sighted (as you'll see from the picture evidence below) and if you haven't seen them yet yourself, they should be hitting a fridge near you, very soon. And please remember for each hatted innocent smoothie sold we'll be donating 25c to Age Action Ireland.
Here's Beth checking out everyone's handiwork in Avoca on Suffolk Street in Dublin.
We are really grateful to all you amazing knitters out there. You might have seen some of our posters and press ads beautifying your local bus stop, or morning newspaper - we just had to show off a selection of hats that were knitted by you guys and modeled by our bottles - to say a big big thank you to you all.
And it’s not just ads you should look out for - we’ll also be whizzing down a street (dodging snow drifts) near you on these rather beautiful custom designed bikes featuring behatted bottles (alas, not actual size). Be sure and give us a wave if you see us on the street - if the weather’s anything like it has been, we’ll need all the encouragement we can get, or the hats’ll be off the bottles and onto our heads...
A big thanks to the lovely Delo and Beth for having some fun on the bikes with us.
The innocent Big Knit is all about keeping older people in Ireland warm this winter. It's very cold outside, so we urge everybody to drop in on their older neighbours. Age Action Ireland have some great tips for keeping warm, check them out on our innocent Big Knit page.
