AT CINEMAS EVERYWHERE FROM APRIL 15
As well a family pass, our favourite answers will get a set of our brand spanking new kids magnets. They've been totally redesigned and there's one for each letter of the alphabet. Some shine, some glow in the dark, and they're all wonderful.
To go with our new magnets we've also launched a brand new kid's game called banana plane on our kid's website. It's supposed to be for kids, but we admit, it's cost us a good few hours in Fruit Towers. We love our new magnets and game so much we even made a new tv commercial just to show them off.

We've a lovely surprise for fans of our kid's magnets. We locked a bunch designers, engineers and artists into a room and didn't let them out until they came up with 26 (that's one for each letter of the alphabet) brand new kid's magnets. We're not sure what happened inside, but we were delighted with the result. Some are shiny, some glow in the dark, and they're all fun and colourful. All in our boxes of smoothies for kids in stores now.
Here's a sneak preview.
We've also launched a new kid's game called "banana plane" on our innocent kids website. We say kid's game loosely... as trying to get the top score is hot competition here at Fruit Towers.
Also, we'll be giving away magnets and other goodies over on our facebook page all next week so be sure to stay tuned.
At 8.30pm this Saturday it is global earth hour, where people all over the world will be turning off their lights and pledging their support for the planet. This won't be a problem at all for Delia, who told us some time ago how she's helping tackle climate change. Please take care if trying this at home though, Delia does eat a lot of carrots. It's probably also best to keep your eyes open.
Earth Hour started in 2007 in Sydney, Australia when 2.2 million individuals and more than 2,000 businesses turned their lights off to take a stand against climate change. Earth Hour 2010 was the biggest yet, with a record 128 countries and territories joining in the global display of climate action.
This year's Earth Hour takes place on Saturday 26 March at 8.30PM (Irish time), and as well as being the perfect opportunity to finally do that moonlit treasure hunt/ghost story marathon/sponsored silence in the dark* you've been planning, it's a chance to think about what else you can do to make a difference once the lights are back on.
So get involved, switch off the lights and anything else you can do without for the hour (hair straighteners included) and get ready for some good clean wholesome (and potentially candlelit) fun.
*any other suggestions for how to spend the time will be gratefully received, we're really struggling.

Sometimes it’s time to hang up your halo and do something naughty with your innocent smoothies. Hester Casey, an exciting new Irish cookery writer, has sent us in a delicious apple cheesecake recipe using our ‘Kiwis, apples and limes’ smoothie. For more mouth-watering treats along with the amusing anecdotes that inspired them, check out her entertaining blog www.alchemy-fabulousfood.blogspot.com
Over to Hester...
I fool myself into thinking my 'Big Apple' cheesecake isn't quite as naughty as it appears because it has real fruit smoothie as an ingredient. I've used innocent’s ‘kiwis, apples and limes’ smoothie because it is the apple-iest smoothie I’ve encountered. “innocent” it may be, but it will cause angels to hang up their halos!
For 1 cheesecake (about 10 slices) you will need...
Chocolate Base 75g butter 200g bourbon biscuits, crushed (you could use Oreos)
1. First make the base: Melt the butter in a saucepan over a gentle heat. Then, add in the crushed bourbon biscuits, mixing well until all the butter has been absorbed. Empty the biscuit mixture into a loose-bottomed 21cm (8”) round cake tin and press gently into an even layer. Leave to cool.
Filling 1 X 125g packet lime jelly/Jell-O (sufficient for 1 pint of jelly or Jell-O) 100mls boiling water Approximately 150mls of innocent ‘kiwis, apples and limes’ smoothie 350g full fat cream cheese 100g caster sugar 150mls fresh cream
2. For the filling, cut the jelly into squares and place in a 500ml (1 pint) measuring jug. Add the boiling water and leave the jelly to melt, stirring occasionally. When the jelly has melted, add in just enough smoothie to bring the liquid up to the 250mls mark (you may have a little left over - that's for you to drink). Leave to cool, until the liquid becomes slightly syrupy and nearly set.
3. Meanwhile, beat together the cream cheese and sugar until smooth – an electric mixer is best for this job. Add in the cooled almost-set jelly, whisking continuously. Then whisk in the fresh cream. It will be alarmingly liquid at this stage but continue whisking for a minute or two and the mixture will begin to thicken slightly.
4. Pour over the cooled biscuit base and smooth the top.
5. Leave to set in the fridge making sure it is level otherwise you’re going to have a lopsided cheesecake and people will point and laugh.
I’ve decorated this with white and dark chocolate shapes – I have sprinkled some of the white chocolate shapes with crushed apple drops for an even bigger apple flavour.
