At the beginning of last year, innocent asked lots of people if they thought it would be a good idea to write a recipe book to feed families with good stuff (having written not one but two smoothie recipe books already).

Hundreds of mums and dads got in touch to say they thought it'd be a very good idea.

So here it is...

A guide to healthy, tasty, no fuss food that the whole family can enjoy (and that don't take ages to make)

It's filled with over 100 delicious, simple, healthy recipes (from 2 minute breakfasts to proper Sunday lunches) and over 85% of the recipes in the book contain at least 1 of your 5-a-day.

There are loads of tips and ideas for getting everyone involved in making, cooking and eating. We've even picked out the bits kids can do in a rather fetching grey to make it even easier.

And there's as loads of other stuff for kids to do, make and help out with to get them involved and excited about food. 

Or just keep them entertained while you're waiting for bread to bake or just need something to do on a rainy Thursday.

In other words, a book that makes it easy to get good stuff into your family. Without having to spend hours labouring over the stove, making different meals for everyone or faffing about with miniature sushi.

Kids magnets and smoothie hamper competition winner

Last Friday we had a competition for two lucky people to win a full A-Z set of innocent magnets, and for one super lucky person to win a full set of magnets and a kids smoothie hamper. We were delighted to see how many people entered and we'd like to thank everyone who did.

Drum roll... Fireworks.... Red carpets....

After 3 months of mini movie madness, hundreds of entries, hours of deliberating by our special judging panel, and some furious voting by the general public we finally have a winner.

Congratulations to Antoine Lyons, Liam Nugent , Michael Spencer and Robin Persaud for creating a mini masterpiece – and for winning £5000, their work aired on TV and 2 tickets to the BFI London film festival.

Smoothie hamper competition winner

Well, we're back to the regular ol' five day week and two day weekend. Not so bad when you remember summer is almost here and it's only 4 Mondays away until the June Bank Holiday. But that seems like ages away, so last Friday, we ran a competition to give away a smoothie hamper to make up for the return of the two day weekend.

The answer to the competition question, "what's the name of our latest seasonal smoothie" was of course lemons, honey and ginger. We had lots entries but we could only pick one lucky winner. Drum roll please. The lucky winner of the smoothie hamper is Claire Ryan.

Everyone loves Friday.

Recently we've especially loved Fridays since they've been followed by bank holiday Mondays (we really think there should be more). But alas, we're back to the regular ol' two day weekend.
