With the innocent big knit 2011 clicking and clacking along and hats arriving into fruit towers nearly every day, we thought we'd give our knitters and anybody thinking of knitting a little extra help. To push us along toward reaching our goal of 80,000 little hats we've relaunched the innocent big knit big comknitment.
The big commknitment is a Facebook-based pledge campaign to get people knitting. Basically, you pledge to knit 20 hats and tell 5 friends about the campaign, and in return we send a pack containing wool and knitting needles to the first 250 who sign up. We also add every pledge’s name to our roll of honour, so you can see the company you’re keeping, and know that each time you pick up your needles, it’s not just you being all awesome: you’re part of a whole community of awesomeness.
