Niamh Barron

Sarah O Meara

my best ever halloween costume was i dressed as a horse but my fella actually made a mould of a horse face and it clipped on to the back of my ears much better than a mask but was really life like i petrified kids when they came to the door it was so life like

laura dinsmore

best halloween costume was a family set oldest aged 4 a witch complete with warts and broomstick with the 2year old as a cat hissing away on the broomstick

Claire Ryan

Every costume I had as a kid was based around a bin bag! Wanted to be a witch? Cut arm holes in a bin bag and put on a witch's hat. Wanted to be a cat? Cut arm holes in a bin bag and have Christmas tinsil as a tail. Gotta love the inventiveness of the 80s!

Laura

My best ever costume was a withces outfit made from a black bin bag which I stuck moons and stars onto and raided my mothers make up bag no face paint in those days!1 I also made a sweeping brush into a broom with a teddy cat on board!

My mam dressed me as boy george when I was 2 the shame of it lol, I had a little blue hat with lots of black wool plaits hanging from it:( I wish they'd burn the photos lol

Margaret Collins

A cut out mask from a cornflakes box which I coloured in myself and glued on material for hair, then made a costume out of old clothes till I was a beautiful princess and made a wand out of tinfoil on top of a stick and more cardboard from the cornflakes box!!!!

Grace Hill

I was "pretty woman" - character from the movie, i did the boots, hat - i looked like such a skank. I won 1st prize for it because I had Julia (sorry Vivienne!) down to a tee!

Karen Lloyd-Peate

I dressed my son as a Mummy, i tore sheets in shreds and stapled them together as i wrapped them around him, unfortunately i stapled a few bits to his skin by mistake on a few occasions in the rush of it all so ther was no real need for the fake blood as there was plenty of the real stuff, and if his bandages were unwrapped from his face his face would have won any halloween competition, what a cruel mother lol x

Jennifer

Its not mine, but my sons from last night. He wanted to dress up as handy manny but instead of buying the costume we decided to do it ourselves,We even made him a wooden tool box, painted it red and stuck on some handy manny signs, and sewed on a picture of handy manny onto his cap.he looked great!
